About University of the Nations
The University of the Nations (U of N) is a global Christian university with branch campuses in over 525 locations in 130 countries, providing coursework in more than 70 languages around the world. The university offers Associate’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees, Graduate Diplomas and Master’s degrees from its seven colleges.
These colleges are the College of the Arts and Sports, College of Christian Ministries, College of Communication, College of Counseling and Health Care, College of Education, College of Humanities and International Studies, and the College of Science and Technology.
About Youth With a Mission
U of N operates under the umbrella organization of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM is an international volunteer movement that demonstrates Jesus’ passion and care for people of every nation. The organization helps change lives through training, conveying Jesus’ love, and caring for people in need.
People of all ages are invited to use their spiritual gifts and creative expressions to reach out to individuals and communities as Jesus instructed in Mark 16:15 (NIV), “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” YWAMers in more than 1,000 locations in over 160 countries learn by living out the motto, “Know God, and make Him Known”.
About UofN Kona
As one of the largest YWAM U of N training and ministry centers, the Kona, Hawaii campus attracts people from all over the globe to explore their God-given calling in a family-friendly atmosphere. Commitment to bringing people together into this transformational community together propels future campus development.
To accommodate the exponential growth of our student body and volunteer staff, the campus is undertaking a major development program. The expansion includes a new cafeteria, transmedia and arts facilities, sports facilities, new classrooms, and additional housing for students and staff.
